Michael Owen : Robin van Persie as the “PFA Player of the Year”

Manchester United’s senior players Michael Owen believes that Arsenal striker Robin van Persie will be selected as the ‘PFA Player of the Year’.

‘PFA Player of the Year’ is an annual award given to best players in the Premier League. The Association chose the two best players, and awards will be given in April.

The former England striker is said to have produced 26 goals and consistent performance throughout the season to make van Persie deserves championed this season. Arsenal helped by the impressive performance Persie and move Tottenham Hotspur in the top three Premier League standings.

“The best player so far this season? I chose Robin van Persie who will come out a winner in my opinion,” said Owen via twitter account reported by the goal page.
